Hi Lori, read your blog with interest as we were with you at the stand when all this happened. So glad to hear that Peanut came back unharmed, we were not at the stand in the afternoon and already wondered what had happened to him.
I took quite a few pictures that day and some of them would underline your story. Do you want me to email them to you? Let me know.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Knight Inlet and hope you have a succesful remainder of the salmon run season.

Hi Lori, read your blog with interest as we were at the stand with you when all this happened. We were however not at the stand in the afternoon and I was already wondering if Peanut survived the attack. Good to hear he did! We loved the little guy. I have taken quite a lot of photos and have a few which would underline your story. Do you want to email them? Let me know.
It was a wonderful time we had at Knight Inlet and we loved every minute of it.

I had to download a program to enable me to view this video on my Mac – it was well worth the effort. It was great to see the Grizzlies fishing. Am hoping that I’ll be able to record some clips with my new camera later this year. Who would want to visit anywhere else in the world? Knight Inlet is THE BEST.

Sorry but we are locked up tight for the winter! It can be a very remote and lonely spot in the winter. Still beautiful, cannot imagine what it was like for the First Nations or the early settlers during the winter as it can be a very harsh environment.
