Your Itinerary....

  1. DAY 2 - Rise early. Coffee and breakfast and into your boat. You are off to Johnstone Strait, the summering grounds of the Orca [Killer Whale]. Cruise the area observing pods of these magnificent mammals and with a little luck you'll get to see their cousins, the Minke and Humpback Whales. Another day of diving Bald Eagles, Sea Lions, Seals, Black Bears and the magnificent White-Sided Dolphins.
After a beach lunch or boat picnic there is more exploring, wildlife viewing, and, if your inclined, some fishing.

Knight Inlet Lodge News: News 2008 - Last summer we had a good salmon return to our rivers so the bears were well fed and very active. There was lots of interaction and lots of great viewing. The Orca were exceptionally playfull. One female actually "spy-hopped" right next to one of our boats and had a "conversation" {chirped} with a couple of astounded guests. The Humpback were around most of the season with the calves doing lots of exciting leaps.
